About The Course

IPAF operator courses are to be delivered at NCIS Ltd's purpose built, modern training facilities at Portrack Lane Teesway North Tees Industrial Estate Stockton TS18 2RS – We are now an IPAF Accredited Training Centre.

The IPAF training categories, with abbreviations and brief explanations, are:

Static Vertical (1a, 1a+): Vertical personnel platforms (static)

Static Boom (1b, 1b+): Self-propelled booms (outriggers), trailers/push-arounds, vehicle-mounted platforms

Mobile Vertical (3a, 3a+): Scissor lifts, vertical personnel platforms (mobile)

Mobile Boom (3b, 3b+): Self-propelled booms

(If the courses are carried out on site you will be required to provide the use of appropriate machine(s).

1 x day course

2 x machines on same day (up to 4 x persons)

Candidates will be instructed to prepare and safely operate various types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs).

Candidates will need to bring safety boots, we can provide Hi-visibility vest and a full fall restraint harness. Upon successful completion delegates will be supplied with an IPAF handbook, certificate and PAL card and certificate valid for 5 years.
